The WIDIA 3607089 is a Top Notch grooving insert in the NG-K series, designed for external grooving and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries a 0.0614 inch (1.56 mm) cutting width, a maximum depth of cut of 0.1098 inch (2.79 mm), and is ground from solid carbide with a TiAlN PVD coating in manufacturer grade TN6010. The right-hand orientation, positive rake angle of 10 degrees, and K-style chip breaker make this insert well suited for machining cast iron, stainless steel, steel, and superalloys and titanium where chip control and edge integrity are critical.

Installation Notes
