The WIDIA 2837746 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining applications. Carrying a TiAlN (PVD) coating under the 4V00 Series material grade TiAlN-LT, this tool delivers thermal resistance and wear life suited for both roughing and finishing passes. The 3/8-inch diameter, 4-flute geometry with a 38-degree medium helix and variable index design reduces chatter and promotes chip evacuation. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 7/8-inch length of cut, this single-end tool fits standard 3/8-inch straight-cylindrical shank toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
