West Penn Wire 998RD1000 is a 12 AWG, 2-conductor (1 pair) solid bare copper fire alarm cable with PVC insulation and PVC jacket, riser-rated (FPLR) for fire alarm and signaling in riser applications and a 300 V voltage rating. The unshielded cable has a nominal outside diameter of 0.244 in, nominal DCR of 1.8 Ohm/1000 ft, and is supplied on a 1000 ft spool with a 75 C temperature designation.

  • 12 AWG solid bare copper conductors in a 1 pair (2-conductor) configuration; unshielded.
  • PVC insulation and PVC jacket; UL listed FPLR (riser) fire rating and 300 V voltage rating.
