Licensed safety professionals, riggers, and skilled tradespeople install and inspect this harness as part of a complete personal fall arrest system (PFAS) in compliance with OSHA 1926 Subpart M and ANSI Z359 standards.
This harness is suited for climbing tasks on towers, utility poles, scaffolding, rooftops, and structural steel. Its back D-ring supports fall arrest, while the side D-rings are positioned at the hips for work-positioning applications. Typical install scenarios include telecommunications tower work, electrical utility line work, roofing, and general construction where workers are exposed to fall hazards at six feet or greater above a lower level.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standalone full-body harness for use within a personal fall arrest system; compatible with standard snap hooks, carabiners, and lanyards conforming to ANSI Z359 connector requirements.
A qualified competent person as defined by OSHA must inspect this harness before each use and fit it to the worker according to the manufacturer's adjustment instructions. The harness must be connected only to an anchor point capable of supporting the required fall arrest load as specified by applicable standards. Do not connect the back D-ring to a positioning-only device, and do not use a harness that has been subjected to fall arrest forces — remove it from service immediately after any fall event. Installation and use should comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M and ANSI Z359 fall protection standards.
