The WELDAS 44-7300XXL is a full-coverage leather welding jacket built for professional welders who work around open flame, spatter, and radiant heat. Constructed from durable and pliable side split cowhide in a lava brown finish, this jacket resists heat and flame while allowing adequate range of motion for overhead and confined-space welding. All leather seams are double-locked stitched with high-strength 5-ply Tex 90 DuPont Kevlar thread, providing seam integrity under repeated stress. Stress points are reinforced with double leather or metal rivets. Front snaps are coated for better electrical protection. Sized at 2XL for a comfortable fit over work layers.
This jacket is suited for MIG, TIG, and stick welding applications in fabrication shops, construction sites, and industrial environments. It is appropriate for professional welders, pipefitters, and ironworkers who require reliable upper-body protection from spatter, sparks, and incidental flame contact. The lava brown side split cowhide construction holds up to daily shop use without cracking or stiffening prematurely.
Designed as an OEM-style protective garment for professional welding and hot-work applications requiring upper-body leather coverage.
This garment is donned by the wearer before beginning any hot-work operation involving open flame, arc welding, or significant spatter exposure. Inspect all seams, rivets, and snaps before each use to confirm structural integrity. Do not use if the leather shows cracks, burns through the material, or if any seam has separated. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and employer PPE requirements for hot-work environments.
