The WELDAS 44-7300L is a full-coverage leather welding jacket designed for welders and fabricators who need reliable heat and flame resistance in active shop or field environments. Constructed from durable, pliable side split cowhide in a lava brown finish, this jacket features double-locked leather seams stitched with high-strength 5-ply Tex 90 DuPont Kevlar thread throughout. Stress points are reinforced with double leather or coated metal rivets, and the front snaps carry the same protective coating for improved electrical resistance. It is sized Large and sold as a single unit.
This jacket is suited for MIG, TIG, stick, and general arc welding applications in both residential shop and light industrial settings. The side split cowhide construction provides a balance of flexibility and protection, making it practical for sustained overhead or positional welding work. Fabricators, ironworkers, and welding technicians working around spatter, slag, and open flame are the primary users of this garment.
Designed as a general-purpose leather welding jacket for welders and fabricators requiring ANSI-category flame and heat protection in welding applications.
This garment is donned and inspected by the wearer before each use. Check all seams, rivets, and snaps for integrity before working near open flame or electrical arc. Welding jackets should be worn over appropriate underlayers and used in conjunction with other required PPE per applicable OSHA and AWS safety standards. Damaged or compromised leather should be taken out of service immediately.
