The WEILER 83010 is a 6-inch diameter wheel brush designed for surface finishing, blending, and deburring applications across metal fabrication, welding prep, and general industrial work. It uses crimped nylon filaments impregnated with 320-grit silicon carbide abrasive, delivering consistent stock removal and surface conditioning without aggressive gouging. The arbor hole mount provides straightforward installation on bench grinders, angle grinders, and arbor-equipped power tools. At a maximum rated speed of 3,600 RPM, it is suited for controlled, lower-speed finishing work. Machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers and operators of this brush type.
The WEILER 83010 is appropriate for light deburring, edge blending, surface conditioning, and pre-paint or pre-weld surface prep on metal, wood, or composite substrates. The 320-grit rating makes it well suited for finishing passes rather than aggressive material removal. The 1-inch face width allows contact with flat surfaces, shoulders, and inside edges of workpieces. It is commonly used in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and industrial production environments where consistent surface finish quality is required.
Designed for use on bench grinders, angle grinders, and other arbor-equipped rotary tools accepting a 2-inch arbor hole mount. Confirm tool arbor size and maximum RPM rating meets or exceeds 3,600 RPM before installation.
Install and remove this wheel brush only with the power tool fully de-energized and unplugged or locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 3,600 RPM maximum rating of this brush before operation. Always dress the brush guard and wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating wire and abrasive wheel brushes. Do not force or side-load the brush beyond its designed face width contact area.
