The WEILER 21233 is a single-spiral hand tube brush designed for cleaning the interior of tubes, pipes, and small-bore fittings. The brush head measures 0.5625 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches in length, with a 9-inch overall length that provides reach into confined passages. Steel fill wire at 0.005 inches in diameter delivers firm mechanical scrubbing action to remove scale, debris, and fouling from metal tube walls. The galvanized steel shank at 0.15625 inches in diameter terminates in a loop handle for hand operation without a drill or power tool. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters use this brush for prep work and maintenance tasks on tubing and small-bore components.
This brush is suited for residential and light commercial maintenance applications where hand-cleaning of tube interiors is required. Typical use cases include cleaning copper sweat fittings before soldering, deburring and clearing heat exchanger tubes, and removing oxidation or residue from small-bore pipe ends. The single-spiral configuration provides consistent contact around the tube interior wall. The loop handle allows controlled hand torque without the need for a power driver.
Designed for hand-cleaning of tubes and small-bore fittings with an interior diameter compatible with a 0.5625-inch brush head.
Shut off and depressurize any line or fitting before inserting the brush. Insert the brush with steady axial rotation using the loop handle — do not force the brush into a bore smaller than the rated brush diameter. Inspect fill wire condition before each use and retire the brush if wires are kinked, broken, or missing. No power tool is required or recommended for this loop-handle brush.
