The WEILER 10302 is a crimped wire end brush designed for aggressive surface preparation and weld cleaning on steel workpieces. Built with a 0.5 inch brush diameter and a 7/8 inch trim length, this brush delivers controlled flare and enhanced durability during operation. The 6 mm shank mounts to standard rotary tools, die grinders, and drill chucks, allowing the brush to reach a maximum rated speed of 25,000 RPM. The uniquely trimmed crimped wire fill improves brushing action while maintaining consistent contact with the work surface. Installed by machinists, fabricators, and metal finishing technicians.
The WEILER 10302 is suited for cleaning corners, filet welds, and tight-access areas on steel components. The flared wire design allows the bristles to conform to irregular surface geometry, making it effective in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and production welding operations. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both bench-top and portable rotary tool setups where a small-diameter end brush is required.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 6 mm shank, suitable for surface preparation and weld cleaning applications on steel material.
This end brush is installed by machinists, metal fabricators, and maintenance technicians using standard die grinders or rotary tools. Before mounting, confirm the tool's rated maximum RPM meets or exceeds the brush's 25,000 RPM rating and that the collet or chuck accepts a 6 mm shank. Always power down and disconnect the tool before changing brushes. Use appropriate eye protection and guards as required by ANSI B11 safety standards when operating wire brushes at speed.
