The WEBER-STEPHEN PRODUCTS 7212 is an ambient temperature probe designed for use with compatible iGrill thermometer devices. It clips directly to the grill grate and monitors the internal air temperature of the cooking chamber throughout the grilling session. The probe is heat resistant, built to withstand sustained high heat from extended grilling as well as the intense short-duration heat generated during searing. Each unit includes one probe, four color-coded identification sleeves, and a probe wrap for organized storage between uses. This accessory is suited for grillmasters and outdoor cooking professionals who need accurate ambient readings during cooks.
The 7212 ambient probe is used in outdoor grilling applications where monitoring grill chamber temperature is critical to cooking consistency. It attaches to the grill grate without modification and feeds temperature data to a paired iGrill thermometer unit. Compatible iGrill thermometer models include TV 195182, TV 195183, and TV 220815. The probe is applicable in both residential backyard setups and competitive or commercial outdoor cooking environments where precise ambient heat management is required.
Compatible with iGrill thermometer models TV 195182, TV 195183, and TV 220815 when connected as an ambient probe accessory.
Clip the probe to the grill grate before lighting the grill, positioning it away from direct flame contact to get an accurate ambient chamber reading. No tools are required for attachment. Ensure the probe cable is routed clear of the lid hinge or high-heat zones to prevent damage to the lead wire. Disconnect and allow the probe to cool completely before handling or wrapping for storage.
