The WAYNE WATER SYSTEMS PC2 is a portable electric water transfer pump built for moving water in residential and light commercial applications. Powered by a 1/2 HP, 115-volt motor, it delivers up to 340 gallons per hour and can lift water over 35 feet of vertical head. The pump and motor housing are constructed from rugged metal, making it durable enough for repeated jobsite use. Inlet and discharge connections are 3/4-inch garden hose fittings, allowing fast hookup without special adapters. A suction attachment is included, enabling the unit to remove water down to 1/8 inch of remaining surface depth.
The PC2 is designed for dewatering tasks such as draining flooded basements, emptying ponds or pools, removing standing water from job sites, or transferring water between tanks and containers. Its portable form factor makes it practical for service trucks and storage in tight spaces. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, pool service professionals, and general contractors commonly keep a unit on hand for emergency and routine dewatering work. The included suction attachment extends usefulness to near-complete water removal without the need for additional accessories.
Designed as a portable standalone water transfer pump compatible with standard 3/4-inch garden hose fittings at inlet and discharge; suitable for residential and light commercial dewatering applications.
A licensed plumber or qualified technician should verify the discharge path and hose connections are secure before operation. Plug the unit into a properly grounded 115-volt outlet and confirm the circuit is rated for the motor load. Never run the pump dry, as this can damage the internal seals and impeller. Keep the pump and power cord clear of standing water at the electrical connection point to reduce shock hazard.
