The WATTS BRASS TUBULAR PL-3036 is a quick connect adapter designed to join 1/2 inch outside diameter tubing to a 1/2 inch male pipe thread fitting. It is compatible with poly tubing and soft copper tubing only. This adapter is used in plumbing supply lines and fixture connections where a fast, tool-free tube connection to a threaded fitting is needed. Licensed plumbers and experienced tradespeople install this fitting in residential and light commercial applications. It is sold in packages of five, making it practical for service calls or small installations requiring multiple connections.

This adapter is suited for under-sink supply connections, ice maker lines, water filter installations, and similar low-pressure plumbing applications that use flexible poly or soft copper tubing. It provides a direct transition from a compression-style quick connect tube end to a standard male pipe thread port on a valve, fixture, or manifold. Installation Notes

Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before making or breaking any connections. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely before insertion into the quick connect end. Do not use this fitting with steel tubing or install it behind walls, under slabs, or in any concealed location.
