The WATTS BRASS TUBULAR NF8 is a hose connection vacuum breaker designed to prevent backflow and siphonage at outdoor hose bibbs, utility faucets, and similar threaded connections. It connects between the hose bibb and the garden hose, creating an atmospheric break that stops contaminated water from being drawn back into the potable supply line. The NF8 features a 3/4 inch female hose thread inlet and a 3/4 inch male hose thread outlet. It is drainable, making it suitable for installation in areas subjected to freezing temperatures where standing water inside the device could cause damage. Installation Notes
