The WATTS 547111 is a 3/4-inch, 2-piece, full port brass ball valve designed for commercial and industrial fluid and gas control applications. Built around a chrome-plated brass ball and virgin PTFE seats, this valve delivers reliable shutoff performance at pressures up to 600 psi. The bottom-loaded, blowout-proof stem adds a critical layer of safety under high-pressure cycling. An adjustable stem packing gland and stem packing nut allow field servicing without full valve removal. Sweat (solder) end connections make this a natural fit for copper pipe systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This valve is suited for commercial and industrial piping systems carrying water, oil, or gas. The full port design minimizes pressure drop across the valve body, which matters in high-flow or process-critical lines. The 2-piece body construction allows the valve to be serviced or repacked in place. The steel lever handle gives quick quarter-turn actuation for isolation or throttling tasks in mechanical rooms, boiler plants, and process piping installations.
Designed for use in commercial and industrial piping systems handling water, oil, or gas service. Sweat end connections are compatible with standard 3/4-inch copper tubing.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off system pressure and drain the line before soldering sweat connections to avoid heat damage to PTFE seats and seals. Apply heat evenly to the fitting body and allow the valve to cool before pressurizing the system. Confirm all packing gland fasteners are snug before returning the line to service.
