The WALTER-TITEX 5058623 is a jobber length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in cast iron and steel. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with an oxide coating, this bit features a 118-degree standard point angle and a web-thinned, tapered web configuration that reduces thrust and improves chip flow. It carries a straight-cylindrical shank with a 13/64-inch diameter and an overall length of 3-3/8 inches. The two-flute, regular spiral design suits both blind hole drilling and stack drilling applications. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tradespeople as well as industrial maintenance technicians will find this bit suitable for everyday production and service work.
This drill bit is rated for primary use in cast iron and steel workpieces, making it a practical choice for trade and light industrial environments where consistent hole quality in ferrous materials is required. It fits blind hole and stack drilling applications and meets ANSI, ISO, BS, and DIN standards. The Series A1211 designation places it within a well-established family of general-purpose HSS jobber bits. It is sold individually (package quantity of 1) and is subject to a minimum order quantity of 10 units per order.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style jobber length drill bit for use in standard straight-shank drill chucks on handheld drills, drill presses, and CNC drilling equipment where a 13/64-inch straight-cylindrical shank bit is specified. Primary workpiece material codes K (cast iron) and P (steel) per ISO classification.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified tradespeople or machinists familiar with drilling operations. Ensure the drill chuck is fully tightened and the workpiece is securely clamped or fixtured before operation. Disconnect or de-energize any power tool before changing bits. Do not exceed the maximum drilling depth of 1.732 inches in a single pass without retracting to clear chips.
