The WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES 15R454 is a Type 27 zirconia alumina flap disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal surfaces. Measuring 4.5 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor hole, it runs at a maximum of 13,300 RPM on a standard angle grinder. The 40-grit coarse abrasive and plastic backing make it well suited for heavy stock removal, weld blending, and surface conditioning on steel and stainless steel. The trimmable design allows the operator to expose fresh abrasive as the disc wears, extending usable life. Fabricators, pipefitters, and metal finishing technicians are the primary users of this product.

This flap disc is intended for use on angle grinders in both shop and field environments. Its Type 27 flat profile provides maximum surface contact during flat grinding and blending passes.
