The WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES 11W303 is a Type 1 (01/41) resinoid-bonded aluminum oxide cut-off wheel built for precision cutting on steel and stainless steel. Measuring 3 inches in diameter and 1/32 inches thick with a 3/8 inches arbor hole, this wheel is engineered for die grinder use where a narrow kerf and clean cut edge are required. The 46-grit aluminum oxide abrasive is reinforced for added structural integrity during high-speed operation, with a rated maximum speed of 25,470 RPM. At 0.1 pounds, it is lightweight and well-suited for sustained overhead or detailed cutting work.
This cut-off wheel is intended for trade professionals performing cutting operations on steel and stainless steel in fabrication, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance applications. Its compact 3-inch diameter makes it the appropriate choice for die grinder-driven cuts in tight spaces, along pipe runs, tubing, strut, and sheet metal where larger angle grinder wheels cannot access. Each package contains one wheel.
Designed for use with die grinders accepting a 3/8 inches arbor hole and capable of operating at or below 25,470 RPM. Suitable for cutting applications on steel and stainless steel workpieces.
This wheel must be installed and operated by qualified personnel familiar with abrasive wheel safety. Always verify that the grinder's rated RPM does not exceed the wheel's 25,470 RPM maximum before mounting. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage prior to each use and never operate a damaged wheel. Use the appropriate guard and personal protective equipment in accordance with ANSI B7.1 and applicable jobsite safety requirements.
