The WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES 11L203 is a Type 1 (01/41) aluminum oxide cut-off wheel designed for precision cutting on steel and stainless steel. Measuring 2 inches in diameter and 1/32 inch thick with a 3/8-inch arbor hole, this reinforced resinoid-bonded wheel carries a 60-grit rating and a maximum operating speed of 30,600 RPM. It is sized for use with die grinders in applications where a compact, thin-kerf cut is required. Licensed tradespeople and metalworkers rely on this wheel for flush cuts, slot work, and tight-clearance cutting tasks where larger wheels cannot reach.
This cut-off wheel is suited for use on steel and stainless steel substrates in fabrication, maintenance, and repair settings. Its 2-inch diameter and thin 1/32-inch profile make it a practical choice for die grinder work in confined spaces, such as pipe fitting, sheet metal work, and structural steel trimming. The aluminum oxide abrasive with resinoid bond is appropriate for ferrous metal cutting at the speeds typical of pneumatic and electric die grinders. Each unit is sold individually.
Designed for use with die grinders. Rated for cutting steel and stainless steel per the A60 specification. Arbor size of 3/8 inch fits standard die grinder mandrel configurations.
This wheel must be installed and operated by personnel familiar with abrasive wheel safety. Always verify that the grinder speed rating meets or exceeds the wheel maximum RPM before mounting. Inspect the wheel for cracks or chips before each use and never operate a damaged wheel. Follow ANSI B7.1 and applicable workplace safety standards when mounting, guarding, and operating cut-off wheels.
