The WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES 08B460 is a Type 27 depressed center grinding wheel designed for aggressive material removal on ferrous and stainless steel surfaces. Measuring 4.5 inches in diameter and 0.25 inches thick with a 0.875-inch arbor hole, it mounts directly to standard angle grinders via an arbor connector. The aluminum oxide abrasive grain at 24 grit provides a very coarse cutting action suited to weld grinding, surface prep, and stock removal. A resinoid bond holds the grain matrix together under sustained load, rated to a maximum of 13,300 RPM.

This wheel is intended for use with angle grinders in fabrication, maintenance, and metalworking applications.
