The WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES 07M443 is a nonwoven unmounted flap wheel designed for surface conditioning and finishing on metal workpieces. Measuring 4.5 inches in outside diameter and 4 inches in width, this medium-grade wheel mounts via a 5/8-11 threaded center hole for secure attachment to compatible drums and holders. Rated to a maximum of 3,800 RPM, it delivers consistent abrasive action across a range of non-ferrous and ferrous alloys. Metalworkers and fabricators use this wheel for blending, deburring, and light material removal without the aggressive cut of bonded abrasives.
This flap wheel is suited for surface conditioning applications in fabrication shops, metal finishing operations, and maintenance environments. It is rated for use on aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, and other alloys. The nonwoven construction conforms to irregular contours and curved surfaces, making it well-suited for finishing tubing, pipe, and formed metal components. It is designed for use with the Line-Mate 30-A 268 Drum and Surface Conditioning Drum assemblies.
Designed for use with the Line-Mate 30-A 268 Drum and Surface Conditioning Drum. Fits drum arbors with a 5/8-11 threaded interface.
Install and remove this wheel with the power tool or grinder fully powered off and disconnected from its power source. Thread the wheel onto the drum arbor by hand until fully seated, then verify the connection is secure before starting the tool. Do not exceed the 3,800 RPM maximum rated speed. Inspect the wheel for wear or damage before each use and replace if the abrasive material is degraded or the threaded hub shows damage.
