The WALTER SURFACE TECHNOLOGIES 06F462 is a Type 27 flap disc engineered for grinding and finishing on stainless steel surfaces. Part of the Enduro-Flex Stainless series, it features a 4-1/2 inch diameter with a 5/8-11 threaded arbor hole for fast mounting on standard angle grinders. The disc runs at up to 13,300 RPM and carries a fine 120-grit aluminum oxide abrasive on a cloth-style wood fiber backing. The trimmable design extends usable disc life by allowing worn flap edges to be trimmed back, restoring cutting performance without replacing the disc.

This flap disc is suited for finishing passes on stainless steel fabrication, weld blending, and light stock removal where surface integrity matters. The Type 27 flat profile keeps the disc face parallel to the workpiece, making it well-suited for flat or slightly contoured surfaces. Installation Notes
