The WALTER 6111194 is a solid carbide round milling insert in the ROHX series, designed for use in indexable milling cutters across a wide range of metal-cutting applications. Built to ANSI and ISO standards under the ROHX1204M0-D67 designation, this insert carries the W3536 manufacturer grade and features a honed cutting edge style with a positive rake geometry. It measures 0.4705 inches in inscribed circle diameter and 0.1874 inches thick, with a maximum depth of cut reaching 0.2353 inches. With four cutting edges per insert, technicians get extended tool life from a single insert before replacement is required.
This insert is suited for milling operations in production machining environments, including both CNC and conventional setups. Its round insert shape distributes cutting forces evenly around the full 360-degree included angle, making it a practical choice for profiling, ramping, and contour milling. The neutral hand designation allows mounting flexibility. It is screw-held and intended for single-sided use. Machinists and tooling technicians working in job shops, manufacturing facilities, or production floors will find this insert compatible with ROHX-style insert pockets requiring a size 12 insert with insert size code 1204M0.
Designed for use in ROHX-series indexable milling cutter bodies requiring a size 12 round insert with insert size code 1204M0 and a hole diameter of 0.1732 inches. Inscribed circle range is 0.4000 to 0.5000 inches; thickness range is 0.1850 to 0.2000 inches.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Power down and de-energize all machine spindles before changing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the tool body manufacturer's specified seating method without over-torquing. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installing a new insert to ensure proper seating and runout.
