The WALTER 5881326 is a solid carbide milling insert in the ADMT series, designed for high-performance face and shoulder milling operations in steel and cast iron. Carrying the WKP35S manufacturer grade, this insert features a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiCN for extended tool life and wear resistance. The parallelogram insert shape with an 85-degree included angle and a positive rake angle of 16 degrees reduces cutting forces and supports clean chip evacuation. It is installed by machinists and CNC tooling specialists in production and job-shop environments.

This insert is suited for milling steel and cast iron workpieces in both roughing and semi-finishing applications. The ADMT10T308R-F56 geometry, with its F56 chip breaker and chamfered and honed cutting edge style, performs reliably in interrupted cuts and continuous passes.
