The WALTER 5194527 is a countersunk-head cap screw designed to secure indexable inserts in turning toolholders. Driven by a TP15 Torx interface, it threads into M3.5 tapped holes with a flat point that seats inserts cleanly and without rocking. At 8.10 mm (0.3189 inches) overall length and 0.04 pounds, it is a precision fastener engineered to the dimensional tolerances required by Walter Capto and Walter Turn toolholder systems. Licensed HVAC technicians, machinists, and tooling specialists stock these screws as direct consumables, replacing them whenever insert pockets show wear or screw drive surfaces are compromised.
This cap screw is used in CNC turning applications across both the Walter Capto and Walter Turn series. It is the specified clamping hardware for toolholders styled A-SCLC, A-SCLP, A-SDQC, A-SDUC, A-SDUC-X, A-SDUP, C-SDUP, E-SCLC, E-SCLP, and E-SDUC. The FS1465 key driver is the designated installation tool. Compatible inserts include CCGT09T301-PF2, CCGT09T302-PF2, CCGT09T304-PF2, CCGT09T308-PF2, CCGT32.50.5-PF2, CPMT 09T301-PM1, CPMT 09T304-PM1, CPMT 09T308-PM1, CPMT32.50PM1, CPMT32.51PM1, CPMT32.52PM1, and CCGT09T302-1L, among others listed in the Walter specification data.
Specified for use with Walter Capto and Walter Turn series toolholders in styles A-SCLC, A-SCLP, A-SDQC, A-SDUC, A-SDUC-X, A-SDUP, C-SDUP, E-SCLC, E-SCLP, and E-SDUC. Requires FS1465 key driver for installation. Compatible with inserts including CCGT09T301-PF2, CCGT09T302-PF2, CCGT09T304-PF2, CCGT09T308-PF2, CCGT32.50.5-PF2, CPMT 09T301-PM1, CPMT 09T304-PM1, CPMT 09T308-PM1, CPMT32.50PM1, CPMT32.51PM1, CPMT32.52PM1, and CCGT09T302-1L. Insert inscribed circle: 0.375 inches.
Insert clamping screws should be installed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with the toolholder manufacturer's torque requirements. Always index or power down the spindle before changing inserts or replacing clamping hardware. Use only the specified FS1465 Torx key driver to avoid stripping the TP15 drive recess. Inspect threads in the toolholder pocket for damage or contamination before installing a new screw; a cross-threaded or over-torqued pocket will compromise insert seating and surface finish.
