The WAC LIGHTING BAACLED242730BZ is a dual color temperature LED under cabinet light bar designed for direct 120V AC wiring with no transformer or driver required. Built from extruded solid aluminum with a polycarbonate lens, the unit measures 24.02 inches long, 2.76 inches wide, and 0.98 inches tall, fitting into a slim 1-inch profile that mounts discreetly out of sightlines. A three-way rocker switch toggles between off, 2700K warm white, and 3000K cool white, giving the installer or end user control over color temperature without additional hardware. A built-in parabolic reflector produces edge-lit, diffused illumination that eliminates hotspots across the work surface below.

This light bar is suited for residential and light commercial under cabinet applications including kitchen countertops, display cases, artwork, and shelving where heat-sensitive or color-sensitive materials are present. The fixture emits no projected heat, UV radiation, or infrared radiation, making it appropriate for illuminating perishables, apparel, collectibles, and fine art. When multiple units are joined using the included I-connector, the gap between diffusers is minimized to create a visually continuous line of illumination. Additional joiner cables and accessories for extended runs are available separately. The bar can be wired directly to 120V Romex or BX cable.

Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. Shut off the branch circuit breaker before wiring. The unit accepts direct 120V AC line voltage via Romex or BX cable through multiple knockouts on the housing. When dimming is desired, use only a compatible ELV or TRIAC dimmer - standard incandescent dimmers may not perform correctly with this fixture.
