The VOLTEC 05-00365 is a heavy-duty outdoor extension cord built for trade and jobsite use. It carries a 12 AWG, 3-conductor SJTW construction rated at 300 volts and 15 amps, giving it the wire gauge and jacket toughness needed for power tools, HVAC service equipment, and other demanding loads. The cord runs 50 feet and features a lighted receptacle that provides a clear visual indication that power is present at the outlet end. The yellow and black jacket makes it easy to spot on a busy work surface or across a job floor. This cord is UL listed for both the United States and Canada.
This extension cord is designed for outdoor applications where moisture and weather exposure are expected. The SJTW jacket resists water and abrasion, making it appropriate for construction sites, HVAC rooftop service calls, plumbing rough-in work, electrical installations, and similar field environments. The lighted receptacle end is particularly useful in low-light conditions or when confirming circuit continuity before connecting tools or test equipment. It ships as a single 50-foot cord with one outlet.
Designed for outdoor general-purpose use on standard 15-amp, 120-volt circuits with a plug inlet and single receptacle outlet — compatible with typical NEMA 5-15 tool plugs and equipment commonly used in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing service work.
This cord should be installed and used by qualified tradespeople in accordance with NEC Article 400 guidelines for flexible cords and cables. Inspect the jacket and plug ends for damage before each use — do not deploy a cord with exposed conductors or a cracked plug body. Keep the cord fully uncoiled during use to prevent heat buildup at high amperage draws. Do not exceed the 15-amp current rating or use this cord as a permanent wiring substitute.
