Vikan 6900SS Scooping Shovel Plastic Square 14 in

Product Description

The VIKAN 6900SS is a plastic scooping shovel built for environments where non-conductive and non-sparking tools are required. The square blade measures 14 inches wide and 18 inches tall, providing a large scooping surface suited to moving bulk dry materials, granular products, or loose debris. The overall tool length is 41 inches. A green plastic D-Grip handle gives the user controlled leverage during repetitive scooping tasks. At 3.5 pounds, the shovel is light enough for extended use without excess fatigue. This tool is appropriate for industrial, food processing, chemical handling, and maintenance applications where metal tools pose a spark or conductivity hazard.

The 6900SS is suited for use in facilities where electrical or flammable-environment safety standards prohibit metal hand tools. Typical install scenarios include chemical plants, grain handling, food production floors, and general facility maintenance. The plastic construction makes it a practical choice for sanitation-sensitive environments as well. The D-Grip handle design allows for controlled, two-handed scooping strokes across flat and sloped surfaces.

Key Features

• Non-conductive and non-sparking blade and handle construction for use in hazardous or electrical environments
• Square blade style with 14-inch width and 18-inch height for high-volume scooping coverage
• 41-inch overall length reduces bending during floor-level scooping tasks
• Plastic D-Grip handle in green for easy visual identification and controlled grip
• Lightweight at 3.5 pounds for reduced operator fatigue during extended use

Compatibility

Designed as a general-purpose scooping shovel for facilities requiring non-conductive, non-sparking hand tools in maintenance, chemical handling, or food-safe applications.

Installation Notes

No power source or hardwired connection is required for this hand tool. Inspect the blade and handle for cracks or stress fractures before each use, particularly in high-cycle environments. Follow your facility safety program and applicable OSHA guidelines when working in areas with flammable materials or live electrical equipment. Replace the tool if structural integrity is compromised.
