Vikan 53725 Hook Brush 2.25 in Polyester Bristle

Product Description

The VIKAN 53725 is a hook-style cleaning brush designed for reaching into curved, cylindrical, or recessed surfaces that flat brushes cannot effectively clean. It features stiff white polyester bristles mounted in a round head measuring 2.25 inches in diameter, with a 6.5-inch head length and a total overall length of 15.5 inches. The polypropylene handle provides durability and resistance to common cleaning chemicals. This brush is suited for sanitation-focused trades including food service, pool service, and facility maintenance professionals who require consistent brush geometry and bristle stiffness for repeatable cleaning results.

The 53725 is well suited for cleaning pipe interiors, valve housings, filter housings, tank fittings, and other hard-to-reach components encountered in HVAC, plumbing, and pool maintenance applications. Its 15.5-inch overall length provides adequate reach for recessed fittings without requiring disassembly of surrounding components. The stiff polyester bristles hold their shape under pressure and resist matting, making this brush practical for repeated use in demanding service environments.

Installation Notes

This brush is a hand-operated cleaning tool and does not require electrical isolation or system shutdown for use in most maintenance tasks. However, when cleaning components within active plumbing or HVAC systems, isolate and depressurize the relevant section before inserting the brush. Rinse the brush thoroughly after contact with chemical cleaners to extend bristle and handle service life. No special tools or trade licensing is required to use this product.
