The VIEGA 33020 is a white PEX tubing section measuring 1/2 inch outside diameter and 20 feet in length, designed for use in residential and light commercial plumbing distribution systems. PEX tubing is a cross-linked polyethylene product widely used for hot and cold water supply lines, hydronic heating runs, and radiant floor loops. It is flexible enough to route through framing cavities with minimal fittings and resists scaling and chlorine degradation better than rigid copper alternatives. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this product in new construction and retrofit applications alike.
This tubing is suited for potable water supply lines, in-wall or under-floor distribution runs, and manifold-based plumbing systems. The white color is a common designation for cold water lines in color-coded PEX installations, though it can be used in general-purpose runs where code permits. Domestic production supports projects requiring domestically manufactured materials under applicable procurement requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation product compatible with standard 1/2 inch PEX crimp, clamp, and expansion fittings used in residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing lines. Use the correct tool type for your fitting system — crimp rings, clamp rings, and expansion fittings each require dedicated tooling and are not interchangeable. Avoid kinking the tubing during bends; use bend supports or bend guides where minimum bend radius cannot be maintained naturally.
