The VICTOR 0780-1209 is an extra heavy-duty, high-flow inert gas line regulator from the L 700 Series, designed for pipeline gas distribution systems. The forged brass body handles a maximum inlet pressure of 350 psig and delivers a regulated outlet pressure range of 5 to 125 psig. Inlet connection is CGA-750 with a 3/4 inches F NPT inlet port and a 1/2 inches NPT(F) outlet port. A stainless steel diaphragm measuring 3 1/4 inches and a 2 1/2 inches gauge work together to maintain stable downstream pressure under high-flow conditions. Licensed gas technicians and industrial piping contractors are the typical installers for this class of line regulator.
The 0780-1209 is suited for commercial and industrial pipeline gas distribution applications where inert gases such as nitrogen, argon, or helium are distributed through a facility supply line. The externally dome-loaded design supports remote pressure adjustment, making it practical for installations where the regulator is not easily accessible after mounting. The stem-type seat mechanism and Delrin cap bushing allow smooth, consistent pressure setting without excessive torque on the adjusting stem.
Designed as an OEM-style high-flow line regulator for inert gas pipeline distribution systems requiring a CGA-750 inlet connection and NPT-threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a licensed gas technician or qualified industrial pipefitter familiar with high-pressure gas distribution systems. Shut off and bleed the upstream supply line completely before removing or installing the regulator. Verify that all threaded NPT connections are sealed with appropriate thread sealant rated for gas service. Consult applicable codes including IFGC and local jurisdiction requirements before placing the system back in service.
