The VICTOR 0384-2544 is a medium-duty oxy-propane and oxy-natural gas cutting outfit designed for industrial fabrication, structural steel work, and general repair. The outfit centers on the WH411C torch handle, built from a high-performance alloy that delivers roughly three times the tensile strength of brass while maintaining an ergonomic grip. Built-in check valves in the handle prevent reverse gas flow, a critical safety feature in multi-fuel cutting operations. The CA411-3 cutting attachment is engineered for improved sight lines during cuts, and the included G250 regulators are matched to medium-duty propane and oxygen service. Licensed HVAC-R and welding professionals, structural ironworkers, and maintenance mechanics are the primary installers of this system.
The 0384-2544 outfit is suited for industrial and general fabrication shops, structural steel fabrication, light fabrication benches, and field repair and maintenance work. With the included Size 1 Series 3 oxy-propane cutting tip, the outfit cuts steel up to 3/8 inches thick. Optional tips extend that capacity to 6 inches. The included Size 8 MFN oxy-propane heating nozzle expands utility beyond straight cutting. A 3/16-inch by 20-foot T-grade hose connects the regulators to the torch handle, providing working reach across typical fab-bench or field setups.
Designed for use with propane and natural gas fuel systems in medium-duty oxy-fuel cutting applications; compatible with optional tips in the Series 3 cutting tip family for extended cutting capacity.
Installation and operation of oxy-fuel cutting outfits should be performed by trained welding or gas-equipment professionals familiar with applicable compressed-gas safety standards. Shut off and bleed all cylinder valves before connecting or disconnecting regulators, hoses, or the torch handle. Inspect all fittings and hoses for damage before pressurizing the system. Never use oil or grease on oxygen-side fittings, as contact with petroleum compounds under oxygen pressure creates a serious ignition hazard.
