The VICTOR 0381-1417 is a straight heavy-capacity cutting torch built for demanding industrial work. At 60 inches in length with a 75-degree head angle, it provides extended reach for operators handling thick material in scrapping, demolition, and foundry environments. The torch runs on propane or acetylene fuel and delivers a rated cutting capacity of 18 inches of steel. A universal mixer combines oxygen and fuel gas efficiently at the point of use. Reverse flow check valves are installed at the torch inlet to prevent backflow of gas into upstream equipment, adding a layer of safety during continuous operation. The optional lock-down lever kit attachment supports secure, fatigue-reducing operation on long cuts.
This torch is intended for industrial trade use in heavy-cutting applications where production-grade equipment and extended torch length are required. Typical settings include metal recycling yards, structural demolition sites, and foundry floors. The 9/16 inch-18 LH/RH inlet connection is designed to accept FBHC and FB series oxygen and fuel hose fittings directly, eliminating the need for adapters in most field setups.
Designed for use with FBHC and FB series oxygen and fuel hose fittings via 9/16 inch-18 LH/RH connections. Compatible with propane and acetylene fuel gas supply systems. An optional lock-down lever kit can be attached for extended-use operation.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified welder or gas-cutting technician familiar with compressed gas safety and applicable OSHA standards for cutting and welding operations. Shut off all oxygen and fuel gas supply valves and bleed lines before connecting or disconnecting the torch. Inspect all hose connections and check valves before each use. Never use oil or grease on fittings, and ensure the work area is clear of flammable materials before igniting the torch.
