The VESTIL MANUFACTURING OLA-2-42 is an overhead load lifter with adjustable forks, designed to convert a standard overhead crane or hoist into a functional aerial forklift. Rated at 2000 pounds capacity, this unit allows operators to move and lift pallets and skids into areas that standard forklifts cannot reach. With a fork length of 42 inches and an overall width of 49 inches, it is built to handle pallet-sized loads in tight or elevated work zones. Licensed riggers, material handling crews, and industrial maintenance teams are the primary installers and operators of this equipment.
This load lifter is suited for elevated construction areas, open-top trucks, cargo ships, loading docks, and any industrial or commercial site where conventional forklifts cannot access the work area. It attaches to an existing overhead crane or hoist, making it a practical accessory for warehouses, shipyards, and large construction jobsites where aerial material movement is required. No dedicated forklift access is needed once the unit is rigged to an overhead lifting system.
Designed for use with overhead cranes and hoists in industrial and commercial material handling applications where the lifting system is rated to support the combined weight of the load lifter and its payload.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified rigging or material handling personnel familiar with overhead lifting equipment and applicable ASME B30 standards. Before attaching or adjusting the unit, ensure the overhead crane or hoist is de-energized and the load path is clear of personnel. Verify that the crane or hoist capacity meets or exceeds the combined weight of the OLA-2-42 and the intended load before each lift. Never exceed the rated load capacity of 2000 pounds.
