The VESTIL MANUFACTURING FE-HS-4-84 is a pair of high-strength steel fork extensions designed to increase the reach of existing forklift forks. Each extension measures 4 inches wide and 84 inches long and carries a 4000-pound capacity rating. Constructed from high-strength steel, these extensions are approximately 40 percent lighter than standard fork extensions of comparable capacity. A yellow powder coat finish provides durability against abrasion and scrapes during regular warehouse or industrial use. Intended for Class 2 and Class 3 forks only, these extensions are installed and removed by trained forklift operators or material handling technicians.

These fork extensions are suited for warehouses, distribution centers, lumber yards, and industrial facilities where standard fork length is insufficient to safely handle long or oversized loads. The extensions slip over existing forks to extend reach without requiring additional equipment investment. The yellow finish provides high-visibility identification on the floor or when mounted. Each unit ships individually as one extension per piece; two extensions are required for a complete set.

Installation Notes

Fork extensions must be installed by a qualified forklift operator or trained material handling technician following the forklift manufacturer guidelines and applicable OSHA material handling standards. Lower and power down the forklift before sliding extensions onto forks. Use the integrated heel handle to seat the extension firmly around the fork heel, and use the front assist handle to guide positioning. Never exceed the rated load capacity of the extension or the host forklift, whichever is lower.
