The VERNON CCH-CCH2030 is an adjustable depth drill countersink designed for precise countersinking operations in metal, wood, and composite materials. Built from high speed steel, this tool combines a 3/8 inch cutter diameter with a 90-degree included angle and a 45-degree centerline angle, making it suitable for standard countersink profiles. The 1/4 inch collar thickness allows depth adjustment, giving the installer control over countersink depth without resetting between operations. This is a right-hand cutting tool intended for use in drill presses, hand drills, and CNC setups by machinists, millwrights, and general trade professionals.
The CCH-CCH2030 fits into holemaking workflows where consistent countersink depth is required across multiple fastener locations. The adjustable collar eliminates the need for repeated manual measurement, which speeds up production in repetitive drilling tasks. It is suited for light to medium fabrication work, fixture assembly, and general maintenance applications where countersunk fastener seats must be uniform. The 3/4 inch cutter head length provides adequate cutting engagement for typical sheet metal and structural applications.
Designed for use with 13/64 inch drill bit diameter. Compatible with standard drill chucks on hand drills, drill presses, and CNC spindles accepting the appropriate shank size. Intended as a general-purpose countersink for holemaking applications in the countersinks and sets category.
Installation of this countersink should be performed by machinists or trade professionals familiar with rotary cutting tools. Ensure the drill or spindle is fully powered down and secured before changing or adjusting the tool. Set the adjustable collar to the desired depth and tighten securely before beginning operations to prevent slippage. Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating rotary cutting tools and follow applicable shop safety standards.
