The VERMONT GAGE 911220700 is a Class ZZ minus plug pin gage used for NoGo inspection of bored holes, drilled passages, and precision-machined features. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.2070 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, making it suitable for quality-control checks on the shop floor or in an inspection room. The gage is machined from steel and finished with black oxide for corrosion resistance. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST standards. Metrologists, machinists, and quality technicians use this type of pin gage to verify that a feature does not exceed its maximum allowable size.
This gage is used in manufacturing and inspection environments where hole diameter verification is required. Typical applications include checking toleranced bores, verifying drill and reamer results, and setting or confirming the calibration of micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. It is well-suited for both production floor spot-checks and formal inspection station use in metalworking, tool-and-die, and general machining operations.
Designed for NoGo inspection applications and for use with micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a 0.2070-inch diameter reference standard.
Pin gages are handled by quality technicians and inspection personnel. Always clean the gage and the feature being checked before use to prevent measurement errors caused by chips, coolant, or debris. Do not force a NoGo gage into a feature; resistance indicates the feature is within its maximum material condition limit. Store pin gages in a protective case away from moisture to preserve the black oxide finish and dimensional integrity.
