The VERMONT GAGE 361126020 is a Go-type threaded ring gage used to verify the maximum material condition of external threads. Machined from tool steel, this single-ring gage is built to NIST standards and checks 1/4-20 UNC threads at a Class 3A tolerance — the tightest commercial thread class, used where fit and function are critical. If the gage passes over the threaded part without interference, the thread meets the Go condition. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-room inspectors rely on this type of gage for in-process and final inspection of male-threaded fasteners, shafts, and fittings.
This gage is suited for production inspection environments and job-shop quality control where 1/4-20 UNC external threads must be held to Class 3A tolerances.
