The VERMONT GAGE 302000000 is a Taperlock-style NoGo thread plug gage designed to inspect the pitch diameter and functional thread of internal threaded products. Built to M36.0-3.00 metric thread specifications with a 6H class of fit, this gage confirms that an internally threaded feature does not accept an oversized thread form, ensuring parts fall within the upper tolerance boundary. Each gage ships with a certificate of accuracy and is permanently marked with nominal size, pitch, class of fit, and pitch diameters. Machinists, quality technicians, and manufacturing inspectors use this tool as part of standard go/no-go acceptance procedures on the shop floor or in the inspection lab.
This NoGo thread plug gage is suited for incoming inspection, in-process quality control, and final acceptance checks on metric-threaded components. It applies wherever M36.0-3.00 6H internal threads are specified, including heavy industrial fastener assemblies, structural threaded connections, and precision machined components requiring verified thread conformance. The Taperlock handle system allows the gage member to be mounted in a standard Taperlock handle sold separately, which keeps the working end replaceable without retiring the entire tool setup.
Designed for use with standard Taperlock gage handles sized for M36.0-3.00 thread plug gage members. Suitable for inspecting internal threads conforming to M36.0-3.00 6H metric thread standards.
Thread plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists following standard metrology practices. Before use, clean the threaded bore and gage member of chips, oil, and debris to avoid false readings or gage damage. The NoGo member should not be forced into a conforming part; if it enters, the part is out of tolerance. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to preserve surface finish and dimensional integrity.
