The VERMONT GAGE 141109700 is a Class X Plus pin gage used to verify bore diameters, hole sizes, and feature dimensions to tight tolerances in precision machining and quality control environments. Manufactured from tool steel with a 4 micro-inch surface finish, this gage measures 0.097 inches in diameter and 2 inches in length. The Class X Plus tolerance grade holds to plus 0.00004 inches, making it appropriate for high-accuracy inspection work. Machinists, quality technicians, and calibration labs use this type of gage to check parts directly or to calibrate other measuring equipment. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST standards.
This pin gage is suited for inspection applications in manufacturing, tool and die, aerospace, and general metrology environments where close-tolerance hole or bore verification is required. It is used as a go or no-go reference standard, or as a calibration artifact for CMMs, air gages, and other precision measurement instruments.
