The VERMONT GAGE 112216200 is a Class ZZ Minus plug pin gage machined for NoGo inspection work. It measures 16.20 mm in diameter with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, giving inspectors and machinists a precise reference for verifying that bored holes, reamed openings, and machined features do not exceed the high limit of a tolerance band. The steel construction and 10 micro-inch finish support consistent, repeatable contact across service life. A Certificate of Accuracy with NIST traceability is included, satisfying quality-system documentation requirements in shop and lab environments.
This pin gage is used in dimensional inspection routines where a NoGo member is needed to confirm a feature is within tolerance. Typical applications include production floor inspection of machined parts, setup verification for bore gauging, and calibration checks of micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. The 2-inch overall length fits standard gage-handle holders and pin gage sets, making it straightforward to integrate into an existing inspection workflow.
Designed for use as a NoGo plug gage member in dimensional inspection of bored, reamed, or machined features at 16.20 mm nominal diameter. Compatible with standard gage handle holders that accept pin gages of this diameter range. Also suitable for setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices.
Pin gages are handled and stored by metrology technicians, quality inspectors, and toolroom machinists. Keep the gage lightly oiled and stored in its case when not in use to prevent corrosion and surface damage. Never force a plug gage into a feature; hand pressure only is appropriate for all Go and NoGo gaging operations. Verify the gage is at thermal equilibrium with the workpiece before use to avoid measurement error from temperature differential.
