The VERMONT GAGE 112107060 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision dimensional inspection of bore and hole diameters in manufacturing and metrology environments. Machined from tool steel and finished to a 10 microfinish surface condition, this gage measures a nominal diameter of 7.06 mm with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm. It is built to ASME B89.1 standards and ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST. Machinists, quality technicians, and toolroom professionals use this gage to verify Go inspection criteria on drilled, reamed, or bored features.
This plug gage is suited for Go inspection applications in precision machining shops, production quality control stations, and toolrooms. It is appropriate for use with micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices as a calibration or comparison reference. The 2.0 inch overall length makes it practical for bench use and for checking shallow-to-moderate bore depths in both small-batch and high-volume inspection workflows.
Designed for Go inspection of 7.06 mm diameter bores and holes. Compatible for use alongside micrometers, vernier calipers, and other dimensional measuring devices per the stated application data.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and precision machinists, not installed permanently. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces that could alter the finish. Clean the gage and the bore before inspection to prevent debris from affecting readings. Follow your facility calibration schedule and handle with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves to prevent corrosion on the tool steel body.
