The VERMONT GAGE 111336350 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision dimensional inspection of bored holes, drilled passages, and machined openings. Measuring 0.3635 inches in diameter with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, this gage delivers the accuracy required for go inspection workflows in production and quality-control environments. The 10 microfinish surface on the gage member minimizes wear on the workpiece and ensures repeatable contact. At 2.0 inches overall length, it fits standard gage handle assemblies used across most shop-floor inspection setups. A Certificate of Accuracy with NIST traceability ships with each unit, supporting documentation requirements in ISO and AS9100 quality systems.
This plug gage is used in manufacturing, machining, and metrology environments where hole diameter must be verified against a defined go tolerance. Typical applications include verifying machined bores on castings, checking drilled holes prior to tapping, and calibrating or confirming the accuracy of set micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. It is suited for use in both production-floor inspection stations and tool-room calibration settings where ASME B89.1 compliance is required.
Designed as an OEM-style go plug gage member for use with standard plug gage handles compatible with 0.3635-inch diameter class ZZ gages. Also suited for use in setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices per the manufacturer application data.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists trained in precision measurement practices. Before use, clean the gage member and workpiece bore with an appropriate solvent to remove oils, chips, and debris that could affect readings. Do not force the gage through an undersized hole; resistance indicates the bore is out of tolerance for go inspection. Store the gage in its case or on a padded surface to prevent contact damage to the precision-ground surface.
