The VERMONT GAGE 111268200 is a Class ZZ Minus tolerance plug pin gage used to verify that a hole or bore does not exceed its maximum material condition limit. As a NoGo member, this gage is a critical tool in go/no-go inspection routines across machining, fabrication, and quality-control environments. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.6820 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, ensuring repeatable, traceable dimensional verification. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy backed by NIST traceability, meeting the documentation requirements of most ISO and AS9100 quality systems. Dimensional inspectors, machinists, and quality technicians are the primary users.
This gage is suited for production floor and inspection lab use wherever hole-diameter conformance must be confirmed. It is commonly applied when setting or verifying micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices, and fits naturally into incoming inspection, in-process control, and final inspection workflows. The 0.0002-inch Class ZZ tolerance makes it appropriate for general-purpose commercial inspection rather than high-precision laboratory applications. Its 2-inch overall length provides adequate handling clearance for most standard bore depths in machined parts and assemblies.
Designed for use in NoGo inspection routines and for setting or checking micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a 0.6820-inch reference diameter.
Handle plug gages with clean, dry hands or lint-free gloves to prevent corrosion from skin oils. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to maintain surface finish and dimensional integrity. Do not force the gage into a bore; if resistance is felt during a NoGo check, the hole is within tolerance and the gage should be withdrawn without applying lateral pressure. Periodic recalibration against a traceable standard is recommended to maintain accuracy over time.
