The VERMONT GAGE 111233700 is a Class ZZ minus-tolerance plug pin gage machined from steel and used to verify bore diameters in NoGo inspection applications. The gage measures a nominal diameter of 0.3370 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, delivering the dimensional accuracy required for quality-control work on the shop floor or in the tool room. At 2 inches overall length, it is compact enough for handheld use with standard gage blocks, micrometers, verniers, and similar measuring devices. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy carrying NIST traceability, satisfying documentation requirements for ISO and AS9100 environments.
This plug gage is suited for dimensional inspection in manufacturing, machining, and precision fabrication settings where bore acceptance or rejection decisions must be confirmed to tight tolerances. It is used by quality technicians, machinists, and tool-and-die professionals to validate hole size during in-process inspection or final part verification. The Class ZZ designation identifies it as a working gage appropriate for production-floor NoGo checks, as well as for setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other comparative measuring instruments.
Designed for use with micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a 0.3370-inch NoGo reference standard; suitable for setting and verifying comparative measuring instruments in production and inspection environments.
Plug pin gages are handled and stored by quality technicians and machinists — no power shutdown is required for use. Clean the gage and the bore being checked before each measurement to prevent debris from affecting readings. Do not force the gage into a bore; Class ZZ minus gages should pass only under light hand pressure consistent with NoGo acceptance criteria. Store in a protective case away from temperature extremes to preserve dimensional stability.
