The VERACITY VOR-ORL-GXT is a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device designed to extend network power and data delivery in low-voltage installations. Sold as an individual unit, it supports applications where powered network devices such as IP cameras, access control readers, or wireless access points need to be deployed at distances or in locations beyond standard switch port reach. Installation is typically handled by low-voltage technicians and network integrators working on structured cabling or surveillance infrastructure projects.
The VOR-ORL-GXT is suited for commercial and light industrial environments where extending PoE capability is a priority. It fits into installations where a single powered device must be fed from an existing PoE source without running a new dedicated cable run back to the head-end switch. This makes it a practical solution for IP camera deployments, access control endpoints, and similar low-voltage network applications.
Designed as an OEM-style PoE extender or injector device for use in low-voltage network installations supporting IP-based equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or network integrator familiar with structured cabling standards. De-energize upstream PoE source ports before making or breaking connections. Follow TIA-568 cabling guidelines and applicable local low-voltage codes during installation. Do not exceed the rated power budget of the upstream PoE source when connecting downstream devices.
