Velcro Brand 31062 Reusable Cable Tie 75 Ft Red

Product Description

The VELCRO BRAND 31062 is a reusable hook-and-loop cable tie designed for organizing and bundling cables, hoses, and other flexible materials in electrical, data, and mechanical applications. Stretching 75 feet in total length, this tie offers a maximum bundle diameter of 3/4 inch and a tensile strength rated at 100 pounds. Its reusable design allows technicians to open, adjust, and re-fasten bundles repeatedly without cutting or replacing the tie. The red color makes it easy to identify specific cable runs or differentiate circuits in organized wiring environments.

This cable tie suits residential and commercial installations where wire management is required. Electricians, low-voltage technicians, and AV installers commonly use hook-and-loop ties like this in panel wiring, rack management, conduit staging, and cable tray organization. The 75-foot length allows the installer to cut individual ties to the needed size on the job, reducing the need to stock multiple sizes. The red color designation is useful in coded wiring environments where visual identification by trade or circuit type is a standard practice.

Key Features

• 75-foot total length - cut to size on the job as needed
• 100 lb tensile strength for secure bundle retention
• 3/4 inch maximum bundle diameter
• Red color for visual circuit or trade identification
• Single-piece roll format reduces need to stock multiple tie lengths

Compatibility

Designed for general-purpose cable and wire bundling in electrical, low-voltage, AV, and mechanical service applications where a reusable hook-and-loop tie is specified.

Installation Notes

Cut the tie to the required length using standard scissors or a utility knife before wrapping. De-energize circuits before working in panels or enclosures where this tie will be applied to live wiring. No special tools or certifications are required for installation, though electricians should follow NEC guidelines for cable management in their jurisdiction. Avoid over-cinching around insulated conductors to prevent jacket deformation.
