The VARGUS 80564 is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting 1/2-14 NPT threads in both internal and external applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN, it delivers consistent thread form and extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 4-flute, right-hand helical geometry produces clean thread profiles in a single helical interpolation pass. With a cutting diameter of 0.4960 inches, a length of cut of 0.9290 inches, and an overall length of 3.5040 inches, this tool is suited for CNC machining centers where rigid setup and precise G-code interpolation are required.
