The VARGUS 66016 is an external, right-hand indexable threading toolholder designed for precision thread-cutting operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built to the Standard series, it accepts a 3ER insert with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, secured by a screw-clamp holding method for repeatable indexing. The shank measures 1 inch wide by 1 inch tall, with a shank length of 1 inch and an overall length of 6 inches. Toolholder style is AL. This holder is intended for use without coolant-through capability, making it straightforward to set up in standard turning applications. Licensed machinists and CNC tool-room technicians are the primary installers.
