The VARGUS 53688 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for cutting internal UN threads at 14 threads per inch (TPI). With a 60-degree included angle, 9.53 mm (3/8 inch) inscribed circle, and 3.60 mm thickness, the 53688 follows a standard 3JIR style geometry for right-hand internal threading operations.
