The VARGUS 52595 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for cutting internal UN threads on a lathe or CNC turning center. It carries the VTX grade designation and features a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, which provides wear resistance across a broad range of workpiece materials. The insert produces right-hand internal threads at 18 threads per inch with a 60-degree included angle. The inscribed circle measures 9.53 mm (3/8 inch) and the insert thickness is 3.60 mm. This insert is used by machinists and toolroom technicians in production and job-shop environments.

The 52595 is suited for threading operations on a wide range of materials. The primary workpiece material code covers universal applications including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless, heat-resistant alloys, and cast materials (material codes H, K, M, N, P, S).
